The Iranian Journal of Medical Sciences (IJMS) is an international peer-reviewed bimonthly biomedical publication, the aim of which is to provide a scientific medium of communication for researchers throughout the globe. The Journal welcomes original clinical articles as well as basic science research experiences mainly on prevalent diseases in the region and the analysis of various regional problems. Manuscripts are publishable in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, letters to the Editor, etc. The IJMS is freely available for readers and researchers.

Assignment of Copyright and Authorship Responsibilities |

Since January 2018, the IJMS has not asked the authors to transfer the copyright of accepted manuscripts to the Journal. From that date, all Iranian authors are being asked to pay part of the processing and publication fees of their manuscripts. The processing fee is 500,000 IR Rials (which does not guarantee the acceptance of the manuscripts) and the publication fee for accepted manuscripts is 7,000,000 IR Rials.
